I'm a big fan of multivitamins. They're good for your overall health, they are natural anti-rust for the human body, can help fight diseases better (not cure!), are good for pregnant women, and keep bones solid, among many other benefits. For people who don't eat the 5 to 10 servings of fruits and vegetables, they are a good alternative too.
The problem with them is that the majority on the market do not have the optimal dose needed for the body to get the maximum benefits. Your drugstore multivitamins are the prime example, the most well-known being Centrum. This brand simply is not dosed enough. It contains just the minimum and then some just to follow the recommended daily allowance (RDA) set by the government.
For example, the RDA for vitamin C is 85 mg, if you want the optimal dose, you'd need 2 to 30 times more! Of course, for the rest of the minerals and letter vitamins, the optimal dose is not as dramatic but it is significantly higher, for example: B12, which is good for the brain and blood formation, the RDA is 3 micrograms, ODA is 10 to 100 mcg; for vitamin E, a good anti-oxydant for red blood cell, arteries, eyes, and for lowering bad cholesterol, RDA = 15 international units, ODA is 50- 800 IU.
One could think that more expensive means better dosages? Yes and no. Let's take for example, USANA's Essentials. They cost around 50$ including shipping per month. They are optimally dosed too, according to a very good book called Comparative Guide to Nutritional Supplements by Lyle MacWilliam. This gentleman reviewed almost all multivitamins on the market. I read it and it was very eye-opening.
I don't know about you but fifty dollars per month is way too much. I used to buy Mannatech's Glycentials, for that price. After the third month, I told myself:" Dany boy, you have to stop the auto-ship, it's not worth it! 50 dollars every month, man!" Guess what? I listened to that voice.
I understand that staying healthy is priceless and I have to say that there are limits to that. I don't want to see my checking account vaporized every month when there are better and inexpensive alternatives, and if don't require you to sell your soul to multi-level marketing, it's a HUGE bonus.
Enter Source Naturals' Life Force Multiples. That brand is also mentioned in Lyle McWilliam's review book and is among the top 12 best-rated multi-vitamins.of the entire book!
There are other reasons why you should get the LFM: no dumb, soul-stealing, friend-alienating mlm to join, the doses are maxed out for the best bodily benefits, it contains coenzyme Q10 for good cardiac health and grape seed extract, another anti-oxydant known to multiply the vitamins' potency.
One bottle with 180 tablets at two tablets per day (one after breakfast, another after dinner for example) will last you three months! With USANA, it will cost you 150$ for the same three months, it's insanely expensive! With 4 bottles of Life Force Multiple costing you less than 100$, they will keep you healthy for ONE WHOLE YEAR!
Amazon is the best place to get the Life Force Multiple multi-vitamins, the price is extremely respectable and the shipping fee is laughable, if you are U.S.-based. So forget about expensive mlm supplements or the generic drugstore kind, go to Amazon now and get them by clicking this link >right here<.

When I first started taking this multi-vitamin, I was very impressed. I was taking 2 "tablets" a day. I fealt great, and had a lot of energy. Then I switched to the "capsule" version, because I thought they should be exactly the same thing. I was wrong. I didn't feel as great, or have remotely as much energy at all. I will only take the "tablet" version of this product from now on.

I am an RN at a hospital and an 88 yr old pateint told me that this vitamin really gave her energy back. I ordered some and can't agree more... it is a great quality product especially if you need more energy!

If you read this study this is one of the top multivitamins out of 500+ tested. It is also one of the more affordable ones.

This is a fantastic product that is not too expensive and yet has very high quality nutrients. It has received high acclaim from nutritionists and health experts, hence my incentive to try it, but the best part is it actually WORKS. I do have more energy from 2-8 hours after taking one of these as well...so I do NOT recommend taking this before bed as I have some days and it keeps me up unless I go wear myself out exercising!

I've taken a lot of multivitamins in my day. Hands down, this is the best one I've found yet. It's got good amounts of what I need, and you only need to take one pill twice a day (vs. 2 pills 3 or even 4 times a day). I feel more energy when I take it and notice a difference when I don't. It has never kept me awake, as another reviewer noted (if anything, I feel more relaxes). It covers all those basic bases I look for in a multiple. Doesn't give me nausea if I take it without food either, which some multiples have in the past. And it's light years ahead of Flinstone's and other garbage like Centrum, which are pitifully low in actual nutrients and aren't processed well by the body. Definitely recommend it!
